The shell drawing stamping part is a stamping part which is processed by drawing technology.
Drawing is to press the flat metal sheet into the stamping die through the movement of the punch. the shell drawing stamping parts are widely used, such as automobile parts, household products, electronic equipment and so on.
The shell drawing stamping part can stretch the sheet into a cylindrical bottle part; in the drawing operation, the blank diameter is affected by the shell perimeter, and the perimeter is affected by the fluidity of the stamping material and the inward flow resistance and edge resistance of the peripheral material; when the resistance of the edge material exceeds the limit, the edge will wrinkle and lose stability.
In order to avoid wrinkling, the stamping material must flow smoothly between the punch and the blank holder.
The two main reasons for tensile fracture are that the ratio of drawing stamping part diameter to blank diameter exceeds the limit value, and the drawing radius is drawn from a flat blank to a shell, and when the shell is drawn into a shell with a smaller diameter, there is a limit for the inward flow distance of the material, which is usually called the drawing coefficient.
The ultimate tensile coefficient is affected by the material fluidity of stamping parts, the compression resistance of materials and the flow resistance caused by compression.
Excessive flow resistance causes the edge of the shell to be damaged and wrinkled, and this area is the area with the weakest material resistance.
